RIDGETOP

×

Set upon a ridge above the city of Yakima, this site features an elegant, elongated stone home and a complimentary landscape of allees, grand lawn terraces and garden rooms. A linear cobblestone driveway passes through rows of birch to a parking court surrounded by clipped boxwood gardens, red maple trees and fountains.

To the south of the home, lawn terraces are sited to extend the form of the architecture into the landscape. Five themed gardens of roses, perennials, and edibles enclosed by tall hedges invite exploration. Below the lawn terraces, a pair of rustic arbors frame views while providing shade for outdoor dining areas that overlook an extensive cutting garden.
